I think Justin has a girl do his facebook stuff - either that or my last boss. How can he say on a fan site that he wants to make lots of friends through his music when it is clear he does not want anything but accomplished musicians and such to be his friends? Maybe his is playing with weak minds like mine just to throw us into tailspins and begone with us.

It does seem to be a bit of a marketing mentality.... I'll agree with you there.

Oh he's not that stuffy I'm sure. He just doesn't hang with fans because they overwhelm him. And besides, if he DID become friends with one of us anoraks, he knows we'd blab about it, and then he'd be in trouble........... gossipy bunch this....

I sorta wish I was going on the cruise now.... they're going to do some fan jams. I'd take my travel guitar and mandolin. Alas........... gonna save my money for a hot tub or trip to England, whichever comes first. Wink

I know. Justin is oceans away, and I feel this huge fan magnet tugging me. I have to wear special shoes with kryptonite cleats in case Udo lets his guard down. It is probably impossible to be "just friends" with Justin. Yes. He is oh, so wise.

Oh, sorry. I was just thinking about my imaginary friend when things got out of control as they always do.

Well, anyway, there is a chance that Justin's posts on the site in question are the result of some lame journalist wannabe begging him after a 72-hour recording session for a few lines.

OK leslee, it seems Moody Jill is also hot on the trail of "who is doing the OTHER newsgroups" like "Justinhwardguitar" and so forth. Is it really Justin? I think we need to devote an entire thread to this issue, and no dragging us off topic now. Only posts that pertain to the "will the real Justin who is really writing please stand up???"

I'd be annoyed if I were the real Justin, and some hooligan out there is just echoing what he wrote... it's a little weird. I'd like to think Justin is maybe doing some organizing on line, but it's seeming less and less likely.

The web design stinks. If Justin wants a web site, I can do better than that, and I won't charge. (I'm not a web designer.)

The writing of some of those articles is not in his voice - again, that is not to say he didn't dictate the stuff at 8:00 a.m. to an Italian on qualudes.

The writing on some of those tabs shows personality traits I don't associate with him. It reads as if it is written by a girl who hasn't found the groove of his style, yet.

The writer's knowledge of guitar tech is not very good.

It would be stupid for Justin to have a separate site with no added value, and Justin is not stupid.

The English is inferior to Justin's.

Justin did not advertise the site.

JDH has said he only publishes through his official site or here, I think.

JDH has said he isn't really in to social media.

The Internet is a great place for cloning. That is one reason it is called the miracle of misinformation. I've had friends of less stature than he be victimized by impostors. People only misquote me and make straw-man attacks - and I'm nobody.

Now, Sherlock, I must ask why some girl with narcissistic leanings would sign Justin's name to articles with apparently no value to the rest of the world, and repost articles that splinter the search engine rankings of the official sites?

I'm getting mean in my old age. I think I need to listen to some SotWS - pronto.
