When the car is COLD... check your oil, water, and make sure there's no loose flapping hoses in the engine (or holes in hoses)..... If that's ok, drive onward until you have time and money for a check up. Those goofy things come on for really dumb reasons.... mostly because there's cheap parts in it. Also check the battery terminals and make sure there's no corrosion. Clean it off and wiggle the terminals if there is. Cold weather is really hard on cars, that's probably what finished off the battery I just changed.

You're more help than the auto mechanics in this town. It is more than a sensor problem because the motor is chugging. I will look around when it gets somewhat warmer. It's up to -2oF already.

What were we talking about?

check the oil when chugging, I hope you know the routine with the dipstick. Do you have antifreeze in it? You can tell if you take the cap off the COLD engine, and there is green in the water.

Then again in that sort of cold, many ugly things could happen. It knocked out a battery here.... an old battery of course, but cold does that.

One has to have good wheels under self when touring.

I really prefer working on my own car 'cause I know it will get done right that way. But getting old sucks, and I can't get the drain nut out of the oil pan .... and don't want to in cold weather. Don't mind dirt laying under the car.... just sometimes it takes muscles. Which are leaving me :(

It was a bad sparkplug, replaced quickly at minimal expense. Pshew!

I at one time had mechanical aptitude. The presbyopia is killing it. Now, I'm too Polish to figure out how to get a space heater operating, even when the boss man is frail elderly.

Which reminds me, how many Pollocks does it take to fix a light bulb?

None. The light bulb must first want to change.

Which makes me wonder what kind of psychological profile I am building by responding to your posts. Do tell me I'm off the grid.

What were we talking about, and how come I keep scaring all the nice fans away?

you keep taking your mask off..... ask the Lone Ranger about that one....

next time I run into a fish that wants to change a light bulb, I'm turning in my shrink sweater...

Knock, knock.

Who's there?

What's worse than a Pollock (Polack, Pollak, Pollack, etc.)?

What's worse than a Pollock who?

A Pollock that can't tell jokes.

I honestly don't know the correct spelling of someone from Poland. I should ask my son's mother in law.... she's a classic. A very ornery race. Alas her blonde blue eyed genes met up with my father's ditto genes and the grand-baby looks like a Kraut invader. (Press my buttons.... the Nazis started bad jokes I think, quite a bit of weird history in that area).

I pressed your button and got this:

I'm really not into sharing my personal information on line due to identity theft, and all the stalkers in the fan base. Everyone I want to know about me already knows about me. Just sayin..... :)

Now what?

What were we talking about, anyway? Oh, yes. My imaginary friend. Why doesn't he write? It seems like forever since his last post.

Quite true. A trip into my website is like a descent into Hades: abandon hope all ye who enter here.... Laugh

We were talking about the 2014 tour. I haven't ruled out coming back there in the Marquis... the seats are premo and recline so nicely you can sleep in them. BUT I really would prefer to see shows on the west coast. I just have nothing to see on the east coast. No offense, "in general" I don't like people's attitudes back east.... I've lived in the west all my life...

So I'm holding out hope for Justin solo west coast.

NO I don't plan to share my personal info. I do my best not to hate others, but some Moody fans, for whatever weird reason, really do hate me and wish to do me harm. Maybe not physical, but social sliming sort of things. It's been a sorta weird and scary 20 years in the fan base. Many of those people are gone, some have matured past such behavior, but some are still around, like Gollum in the roots of the Misty Mountains, gnawing on bones.

It's best to be cautious.

If anyone reading this hates me, I deeply apologize for whatever I did to offend you (possibly my warped sense of humor). But you're still staying blocked on my Facebook if I can figure out who you are.

For the first 2014 tour I have tickets in the orchestra pit for St Augustine March 22, 2014. You know, March just can't get here fast enough! Oh Justin, here I come.

Maybe the fuel is getting cold enough to thicken. If you have fuel injection, that will cause the engine to run very uneven, surging and such.

I doubt if he listens to ANYONE which is probably why his wife runs off and whacks small defenseless balls around. I'm just so grateful the show comes west.

Being stubborn and not listening to others is a sign of a great artist. Not complaining.

Ah, but I hear the greatest relationships are those between two people who know who they are and are OK with the other doing their thing. You will note I said "I hear," which could be why I am not a great artist.

Who knows, do I look like a paragon of couple counseling????????????? AHAHAHAH

Well breaking news!!!!!! Justin will be at Yoshi's in Oakland (Jack London Square) June 6. Google it, you'll find it ......... supposedly some "meet and greet' thang goes with the premium ticket. (We may be meeting with Alan's dogs, which would actually tickle me, I really like bassets). Posting and then off to find the link. They're all up on it over on TER.... watch THAT space, not this.

FYI Amtrak lets out right near it (the Coast Starlight)

Hooray. I love Arizona, but I'm too bent out of shape about this crazy job situation to make sense right now. I made a new resolution to gain 30 pounds and drop 80 pounds from my IQ. That will solve all but the lack of sleep problem. Who's Justin? Why should I see him in concert when I can sit here and enable OCD and tyranny instead? I need a shrink who does house calls at 2:00 a.m.
