It's linkable through Justin's site, now. It was a great interview, no? I was riveted, I and got the strangest urge to go to Poughkeepsie. Actually, Justin is the only artists whose music has "driven" me to want to meet the artist. And how long has this been going on? Artists anymore make such filthy-looking videos, I probably want to avoid the artists. I'm not saying they're naughty. I don't watch those. But they turn the lights down and wear black or greasy, dirty jeans and have greasy hair and acne and scars and tattoos and nose rings. They make faces like they're stoned and uncaring and disrespectful, and they get so close to the camera they can't look good. Nah. That's not my idea of fun.
Neal Peart and Brian Eno have impressed me as having very engaging intelligence, but I can't recall any music I liked by them. Then there was Donald Fagen - a literary genius that wrote the most complex of jazz cliche with ease and applied the silliest lyrics. I've often wondered what was going on in his mind. That was totally different. I like Fagen's flair for humor, but Justin has a talent for sharing peace and inspiration. If I had to pick between the two, you surely appreciate why I forgot about meeting the other until just now.
It was another nice note from Justin on his web site.
I was voiceless this morning, so when I was walking the Evo, I grazed some American burnweed. I ate it all, top to bottom, and the voice was back in talking ranges, but not where Justin was struggle. So, I grazed around trying to find something. The higher notes on the lower vocal chords came back after eating a baby nocino - but they required forcing and sounded separated and aspirated. So, maybe I'll scream my voice away again and see what I find grazing tomorrow. Or maybe Justin can go grazing among the tumbleweed. I think people instinctively can identify things that are good for them, but we lose our ability or confidence to do so if we stay inside all the time.
The boss gets tickles in his throat, but that's one of his Parkinson's symptoms. Please say no.
I read at the bottom of that interview that he would be in Seattle through June 26. Some fans reported he was here the day after Mt. Vernon... I wonder if there wasn't a private gig. We know Paul Allen likes the Moodies!
That post was unsettling leslee. Please be careful what you eat in the wild. We have nettles here that cook up like spinach, had I known we could have had dandelions and nettles for a meal.
Parkinson's is usually a result of old age, nerves breaking down. Can be the result of bad diet too, with not enough fats. Justin looks pretty healthy to me, he just has allergies probably... I'm still sneezing my guts out. I hope Justin has gone to a pollen-free place to live for a while.
Meanwhile back on topic: Justin on the BBC weekend drive home (July 11, 2016)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programme.....jck11#play
Interview starts at 1hr 8 min or so....
Indeed. A lot of it is just stories.
Two more, but the podcasts are on Yuku-net. No ads tho, or shouldn't be. I'm just glad Justin seems to be home and happy with life in general... sounds good.

The alerts help, but even with those, you miss some stuff. Bummer you don't read my blog, I usually get all that stuff up.
Here's one more, just came up:
I don't *think* this is a repeat. These sorts of things are recorded ahead of time, but nice to see it
I appreciate all the links. I know it can be hard to know if we've heard things already. I was thinking (obsessing?) today about how he and his family can't post on social media because of all the creepy creeps like me out here. I is-pose his interviews are so scripted and repetitive these days so he can protect his private life. Maybe things were always that way, but the internet exposes it. I recall complaining to a legislator about talking points, and he explained he kept getting asked the same questions, and eventually he would find a response he liked that worked. Justin also seems to call in to shows these days rather than dropping in the studio. It could be there is no studio, or not enough room for two, or a studio at corporate HQ in London only, or, or.
I'm so glad you keep finding the interviews, though. Like I said, I have Justin in a Google Alert, but mostly I get news of Justin Hayward and facial cream.
You mentioned a plaid shirt, and I saw Justin wearing one on his Facebook page - which reminded me of the fabric on that papasan chair on which I sat front and center in that dream I mentioned awhile back.
Jill over on MBA keeps finding them. I just transfer them over here for those who have trouble with Yuku. For those who can access yuku, this is her link
I enjoy hearing from Justin anytime. I enjoy the BBC stations. The music in England seems so much better than it is here, and I've always had a weakness for British accents.
The Alan Thompson interview was a surprise. I was adrift in another state of mind listening to "The Western Sky." Justin sang, "We'll be together, in the end --"
"RIIIIP! Sunday Nights with Alan Thompson ..."
What? Is that all?
Pulled these off FB, thanks to Dorie and Debbie B. I sure hope someone posts this eventually for ALL of us. It's a lot of work to track all this stuff down. http://www.wolverhamptonmagazine.com Thanks to Debbie B and Dorie
[you'll have to clip and past the picture into your own browser, this site doesn't do graphics.... because of some people who used up too much bandwidth]
And an interview with Himself Stateside

New Goldmine interview. I read it last night; despite the date 6 Sept, it is a recycle from earlier this year. smiley: tongue
