Rolling out the June schedule again... check the usual places for tickets. Notice that there is a gap between Austin and Tucson, I wonder if Phoenix will fit in there. Also, we still don't know for sure about Portland or Seattle, but it was strongly rumored.

June 1: Tulsa OK: Brady Theatre.
June 2: Okie City, Hudson Hall.
June 3: Dallas TX The Majestic
June 4: Austin TX The Paramount
June 7: Tucson Fox: https://foxtucsontheatre.ticketforce.com/eventperformances.asp?evt=768 VERY cool theatre, good venue
June 9: Solana Beach, CA (I'd go see other artists if I lived in the area, this is a great place!!!!)
June 10: Roach House, San Juan Capistrano, CA
June 11: The Rose Dinner Theatre, Pasadena, CA http://roseconcerts.com/
June 12: Agoura Hills, The Canyon Club
June 14: Sacramento, The Crest Theatre
June 16: Yoshi's Oakland, two shows (photo op)
June 17: Uptown Theatre, Napa CA
June 19: Grant's Pass, the Rogue River Theatre (benefit, photo op)

In case anyone is waiting for the "photo op" at Grants Pass, those tickets are already gone.

There were only 12.

ho HO!!! I see. The "photo op" tickets only numbered 12..... so yes they have been spoken for, by pbaub and his gang. I have that straight from the horse's mouth. I'll leave you to figure out which 10 super groupies will be there.

Another back channel did reach me that pbaub was trying to get dear Crash to go to the event. I don't know if she took him up on it or not, but they sure are chummy, as we know from past experience. Another back channel of mine went something like this............ "They are hoping to get him [Justin] all to themselves up there in Grants Pass" so I guess that person was right! smiley: laughsmiley: laugh hehe Justin you'd better be ready for those groping needy pals of pbaub, they're gonna want a return on their investment, putting up with HIS shenanigans! smiley: roll

Having said all that, I hope a real good juicy price was charged for those VIP tickets.... and I'll leave it at that. After all it IS for charity. smiley: smile

I don't care too much for money, money can't buy me loooove! -- Paul McCartney

PS I think it would be highly amusing to have Mike and Julie there as well, and make sure there is plenty of booze. Weed too, as it will be legal in Oregon."

Really, Tigger? ASSuming again? YOU must be bored. Straight off your YUKU page you link here. I have never considered going to Oregon - it's WAY too close to you - nor was I asked. Your 'back channel' friends know nothing. They feed you what you want to hear (true or not) so you can post on your blahg and slime other Moody Blues fans. Most of it is transference of your own actions (that's known as being a sociopath, "shrink"). Please grow up...soon. That or find a new litter box.

There's some tickets on sale for the Aladdin Theatre in Portland... just the VIP so far. I couldn't locate it all through "the usual channels" just followed the MBT email link. It's only GA early entry, but I caved and got it anyway.

Maybe I can sleep under bridges instead of hotels on the trip and save a few bucks Wink

later edit: thought I'd better take down my raunchy comments and show some couth. Sure felt good tho Cool

Hoping someone can pirate the Justin solo on the cruise (he seems to sorta lighten up on cruise) ... or for that matter, ANY of the storyteller events, or solo shows from the Moodies. Those are so enjoyable. I wish the Blue Meanies would lighten up.... either that or Justin would video them for release for a benefit or something, I'd buy it.

I liked the photos for Justin's new tour. Excellent use of rich beige and black and contrast. Of course, the model was very beautiful, too.

What do you think Justin's new songs will be? Does anybody want to try to guess some lyrics, riffs, or titles? Will this be his current event statements? Maybe this is a bad idea. I guessed how "what you resist persists," would go and didn't like it much when it came out, probably therefore.

I have no idea what the new songs will be. Up to Justin, I'll enjoy ANYTHING except I'm not so hot on "Blue Eyes" ....

In answer to your thoughts, Amtrak lets out just three miles north of the Roach House (easy leg distance for the fit and healthy) it's the return at night that is tough. Amtrak runs a BUS back up (at about 10:30 at night) the same route the Surfrider takes down the coast during the day about two or three times. Nice commuter. But limited. There IS a metro system in Los Angeles, but I've never ridden it, have no idea the quality of the rail or clientele. I think there is also Amtrak service to Pasadena but I'd have to research that. Right now I plan to stay in 1000 oaks the night of the Roach House and get a good night sleep in front of a babbling television. I could be talked into the Marriott Fullerton if I knew for sure you were looking for a place to stay that night and wheels for the next day. Marriott is healthy walking distance from the Fullerton Amtrak station. Fullerton is relatively safe after hours too. I could show you the Fender museum the next day.

I do plan to be closer to Pasadena most of this trip tho. Universal, all that. Museums.

People flying into the Coach House might consider Orange County airport rather than LAX. Just a thought.

Thanks for the info. I'd super love to return to SJC. You remind me of the time we were there with Geraldine. I had to catch a plane, but I couldn't in good conscience when I knew full well I could see half of the last show, so I went. Time to go came, and I didn't want to. I could hear another song and then go and drive like a maniac. I could stay for a second song and drive even faster. Eventually, I decided to stay for the whole concert. I was where I wanted to be, so much, I'd deal with the consequences come what may. Afterward, I asked for advice from some folks. A guy who worked at the Coach House told me to park the rental car by my airplane gate, take the keys with me, and call the rental agency to tell them what I did with the car when I got to a phone. (This was before the days of GPS and cell phones.) I had to pay recovery costs, and I don't remember what I did about the return flight, but I lived to tell about it. I also have no regrets.

I agree on "IYBE." It is too personal. I'm glad he loves somebody so much, but I feel like it's none of my business - and how am I isposed to sit politely and give the artist my full attention - 'specially when he's just too good to be true I can't take my eyes off of him - for something between him and HER.

IYBE, yes put into words nicely. I've noticed Julie and Mike sorta look away too, when they play it. No idea what Justin is about with that song... far too personal. Pretty but he has many other pretty ones less revealing, for a live performance.

I was looking at OC airport last night and distance from Amtrak stations.... seems the Santa Ana station is the closest. About a four-five mile walk. Last time I went walking in OC I got turned around and did triple the walk distance... long story, but if I go hiking in any big city, I literally take a pocket compass and carefully write out my instructions now. Worked great in London. My directions reverse when I'm super tired, like a screwy magnet.

I HAVE to conquer the rapid transit of Los Angeles. One day I plan to fly to Peru and see Macchu Piccu and the flights leave out of Los Angeles. Riding down by train sounds perfect, then how does one get to the airport and hotels with no car? (Taxis scare me) Amtrak I've figured out, but its times are more suited to commuters and beach going teens.
