P.S. I thought you were going to say the little squigglies were a little like Alan Hewitt.

Laugh I don't know those formulas anymore. But I did love "The Rajah's Rice" (Mike Pinder's CDs) Used that in a couple of classes, one I was introducing logarithms (High School of course). Kids all love stories. I'd have to take a brush up course to do logs right again, but found an old book of Dad's that started with that concept. Old math books are actually easier to teach from sometimes, they've complicated things by adding graphing calculators to the curriculum. :P

Dad is 88. Last night I went in to visit, and they made me gown up to feed him, he's picked up a Mersa. SHEESH. This is all truly in the hands of the Lord, whomever she might be. I just don't want the old fellah to suffer. Right now I have to hang around the house (losing a day of work) waiting for window people to arrive, and so far, they are nowhere to be seen. Which really sucks.

We'll see I guess. I'm just wondering what germs those little dahlings passed to me yesterday, and what germs I passed BACK. Two had runny noses.

There's a very sweet review of Justin's birthday in Des Moines over on TER, I guess the crowd sang to him :)

Avery wishes Justin a happy birthday, too. Hey, Justin. It seems like forever since I've seen you. I miss you, but that sounds like a personal problem. Happy Wednesdays, too.

I'm on the edge of my seat. I can't wait until tomorrow so I can wish Justin a happy birthday, as if posting among tone-deaf bots is any substitution for real-life conversation.

(I've been asked to take ten days off social media. I think I'll do October 15-25. I hope there won't be any big announcements about concerts the. Please? Anybody?)

Sorry I'm delayed. I just got back in the office and couldn't wait to say happy birthday to Justin (European time). I hope one bot or another will let Justin know I wish him everything everybody else is wishing him for good and more. I'm not a poet, so shucks.

Wow. Last year on this calendar date, Justin was in Wellington. If I were rich, I suppose I wouldn't mind hibernating in New Zealand until Justin appears again - lush biodiversity and warmth.

I was thinking maybe we could do some awesome alchemy whilst in the catacomb made by that paywall asking only your soul; but I've been too distracted. Yes, bot fans. I only aspire to be an alchemist, like the fire would consume my 100% dross barring a miracle.

I can say what I want down here since it's just me and the bots. Wait. Does this place have a name that's a four-letter word? Pish-posh. I think I'll try to write some music now that I have some downtime - except I'm consuming Vivaldi's "Gloria" and quite liking it. When it's over, I promise to try to do something constructive.

Blah blah blah. It's lonely in the catacombs.
