Thought I'd post this

https://www.facebook.com/groups/511121465647285/

It's a group with fans looking for roommates on the cruise.

Someone named Lisa Hake is trying to sell her package. It can't be done I don't think.... should this issue come up (it did for the last cruise) you can't just buy someone's package. You have got to go through the cruise lines, it's a security thing. And there is no way you can sell "to the highest bidder" it doesn't work like that. So everyone beware of this sort of thing. I'd say sign up for the group and see what gives.

If someone tries to sell you a package, contact the cruise lines first, and tell them the story, you HAVE to go through them. I went through all this last time around. Good luck, and happy sailing!

Thought I'd report back, having been following it all over Facebook. Many of the "faithful" who post on line managed to get John and Graeme tickets for the cruise. In fact if someone needs a Graeme ticket, a friend of mine has one. Gray is VERY worth going to see, his poetry recital was very very enjoyable on the last cruise. He's quite engaging in that sort of setting.

Apparently the Justin tickets evaporated the moment they went on sale. Many regulars are bemoaning not getting a ticket, and they were right there trying to get in and get one. Wow. So if you have a ticket, have a fun time. But there are a LOT of Justin solo tickets on the land yet to be sold, so don't forget them.

Oh, wow. They're doing karaoke almost every night. I always wanted to do that - but I'd sound like Eeyore - after cheering for Justin, that is.

They still send me stuff even tho I'm not going. Here's the schedule. Subject to change naturally ;)

Also there are people out there with extra Graeme tickets, so don't forget to be getting those.... Gray is not to be missed, no kidding. One gal with an extra is a good friend of mine and reliable. Looks like a fun filled cruise!

I heard an ad on a radio station a few weeks ago. They were promoting Carl Palmer as part of the Moody Blues Cruise. It sounded a tad backward to me.

Carl Palmer sounds like he's pretty good! I so wish I was going for just a couple of musical groups, I love the Strawbs, they were a serious find on the last cruise! I have this sneaking suspicion that the cruisers are doing anything but reading MBT today. But anyway, taking a few moments to wish all a BON VOYAGE. I'm actually glad I'm not going, I have more than enough to do, and glad I'm taking a Staycation for Spring Break. Be sure to check your spam box in your email if you are missing something!!!

luna, did you get an email saying, "Welcome Aboard"?" It is almost as if I won a cruise, and nobody bothered to tell me. It has all this information about what to do when I board, but I can't drive to Miami in nine hours, let alone get somebody to fill in for me here at home. Oh, how I wish I could be going, now.

Very small wish on my part......... so many things to do here, and I frankly got bored on the last day of the last cruise, after the VIP thing was over. Nothing left to do but get drunk. I was more than ready to go home.

HEY this is really fun!!! It's a live tracker of the Divina. Ain't technology wonderful???? They're headed to port to pick up another load of rockers.

Best wishes and prayers for a cruise devoid of turbulent waters. I hope it is warm and dry like Justin said it would be.

All true, I hope they have a really nice cruise, and don't get into trouble. There's SO many cruise ships out there... the few we hear about with troubles are a very very small percentage. So far it does looks clear and sunny............. I have some photos (stolen) over on this link: (pan down)

Miami looks scary from up there. It makes the little boat look safe by comparison. I only have the best of wishes for those cruising off to tropical paradise. I'm missing my imaginary friend already.

the good news is, no baking sun.............. whew I almost cooked last year! It's a nice temperate blue skied 60 here today... fluffy clouds, birdies hopping on my lawn, my wine must perking in my spare refer (which is unplugged) Life is good.

I tried to get on the webcam for the ship???? (6:20 EST) it's overloaded!!!! LaughLaughLaugh

Will check back later. Bon Voyage!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Later................ hurrah got on the port webcam and watched them pull out!!! How exciting, I can see all sorts of little people in dark blue lining the rail!!!!
There's a submarine leaving the bay today
Headed for far distant shores...............
(sung to the tune "Bless 'em all") so sorry the rest of the lyrics are quite naughty.............. but leaving port is always an exciting moment! One must sing as you sail!!!
I supposed they would leave first thing in the morning. Silly me. It probably takes all day to process the passengers. It must be so nice to be headed toward beautiful tropical islands lush with palm trees. Justin and palm trees. It doesn't get better than that. Lucky them. In a week, they'll all be back, and in another month after that . . . .
I didn't watch the web cam off the ship stuff because it required me to download something onto the boss' computer.
I just noticed a new member is "glenn." Maybe it is Glenn Beck coming to rescue them from the evil AARP. I'll croak if, supposing the Honorable Mr. Beck does not buy them out, the AARP tries to make them spokespeople of its agenda.
Oh, yes. The cruise.
Glenn's gonna rescue us from aliens eventually. Gotta say he got him an audience!!!
Go over to my link, Scarlet sent us two very nice photos, more will pop up. I suspect they're sorta tired right now. Scarlet sorts her photos carefully, I know... she's very good at it. Go UP until you see the illahee link, follow that.... don't be sad now...........
I heard the rooms are so small on the Divina, that the ship's rats are round shouldered....
Well harumph!!!! This time last cruise, the Moodies were doing their first storyteller it was pretty funny. This morning I got up and tried to find the ship on the tracker... alas while I could find the Disney cruise ship in the same vicinity, no Divina. So they may have been kidnapped by aliens. Also no yoga people so they are on another deck, not right in front of the camera. I woke up thinking about yoga. If I had done this cruise, I would have taken better clothing and a mat, and tried to do it right. OWWW that stuff hurts!
leslee I'm probably not going to post EVERYTHING I find about the cruise, so don't hesitate to check my thread at the illahee link. In the meantime look what I found on MBA!!!
Justin looks like an angel, no?
So, exactly how much do cruisers get to see the Moodies? Do they go to 1 or 2 concerts, 1 Storytellers, 3 solo events - anything else? I'm trying to console myself in case you haven't noticed.
P.S. Please post away. It's the next best thing to being there. No, wait. I must get back to my alchemy. Thanks for reminding me.
I've had quite enough alchemy for a while............... the must must carry on without me. :P Anyway no that's LOST angels. Los Angeles translates as "The Angels" why it was named that I have no idea (the place is a pit) and Jim Morrison coined "just another lost angel" in LA Woman. Lovely poetry.
On the last ship we got to see the band maybe three times (one show, on Q&A, one "storyteller" performance which was sorta spontaneous), Justin whomped up some Buddy Holly songs and "Livin' Doll" forgotten who recorded that. Cliff someone, John grudgingly joined in (he was off his feed). I snuck into both of the Storytellers. Then there were the solo bits.... I went to Graeme's poetry reading and Justin's debut show for "Spirits" both were very enjoyable. Four times seeing Justin for the average Joe, I squeezed in five. There were some people who were following Justin around in Jamaica, and he didn't seem very happy about it either. Great photos tho.
I saw no reason to do this cruise because just doing a bunch of land shows is more "Moody for the buck" as it were. I wanted to visit Jamaica on the last one, and swim with dolphins (which I did in their kiddy pool) and I found the Strawbs music, and snorkeling with stingrays unexpectedly.... very very fun stuff. It wasn't all about the Moodies. This cruise was just going to some English vacation spots with no allure that I could see. I spent two or three years of my life on tropical islands, I'm not that thrilled by it.
I'm honestly not all that hot on Rock and Roll either, I prefer quieter acoustic stuff. I wish Justin would do an acoustic cruise, or maybe the whole band. One day someday maybe.
That was a nice report. Four times doesn't sound all that bad, if they lasted more than ten minutes. Last night, going home in the wee hours, I saw a hat in the gas station that looked like the one Justin was wearing in the Jamaica photos. Always something there to remind me. I think I need to live in the tropics, or at least the subtropics. I've often wondered why people do winter if they can afford not to.
I started listening to rock by choice just to hear the Moodies. Then, I listened to it because I wanted to, as a teacher, be able to relate to my students. Then, I think I said this before, I got worried that if Justin Hayward should waltz through the door some day that he should see my record collection and think me some kind of sick, twisted creep for not diversifying. I "inherited" some Heart and a bunch of other stuff I threw away. I got some Chicago (X and XVII) to practice my soul voice. Then, I got some Steely Dan and Donald Fagen. Then, I wanted to work on my '80s hairband voice, so I got some Scorps, Dream Theater, Foreigner, and I can't remember. Then, I kept giving away my Moodies albums and buying more to replace them. My first single was the BeeGee's "Staying Alive." I like first music that gives me a shiver up the spine, and second music that is a challenge to emulate but doesn't sound too awfully rotten. I'm not bound by any genre, as I suppose is the case with us all. We just give ourselves labels so as not to spend two hours introducing ourselves.
