Good to see the Moodies Threshold, Live at the Isle of Wight DVD on the UK DVD music chart at no. 39 this week.

Moodies Live at the Isle of Wight DVD up 9 places to No. 30 this week. Eagle Rock or someone must be doing some promotion - not before time. Why can't the Moodies/UMG sort out gold and platinum awards the BPI awards to to the group for UK sales must surely be totally unrepresentative likewise RIAA awards for sales in the States seem in arrears.

I agree, strangeblue. For years we've heard that they've sold X amount of albums, and the number never seems to go up.

Thanks for letting us know about the DVD charting, though. That's a good thing! Smile

I seem to have got confused with the DVD chart positions of the Moodies Isle of Wight DVD, possibly because the chart is updated on a Monday whereas the music chart is on a Friday. Today the DVD re-entered the DVD music chart at 34 and gives a total of 5 weeks on the chart with a peak position of 14. Back to my other topic, the BPI has not certified any pre-1974 releases for the Moodies with the last awards in July 2013, Platinum for "The Very Best Of" and Silver for OTTOAD (2008 release).
