Mr. Rogers wouldn't go near Vegas with a 10 foot pole. I'll just have to be my mean old gossipy self.... I can't hold a candle to some others I know and correspond with off line. I'm just up front when I hear a REALLY bad rumor. Exposure is the only way to stop them, air them out, let the sunshine in. Put them in perspective.

My mind trips back to the weekend that Patrick Moraz showed up in Vegas (depositions) after he'd been "let go" (contract not renewed, fired whatever you want to call it in March 1991 or so) I think it was Fall of 1992, I was just getting into the fan club, and a couple of my new correspondents told me all these wild stories about Justin disappearing to his room with mad slobbering groupies....

What no one put together was, every time a girl claimed (through secret underground gossip channels) to have "had an affair" with Justin or John, a lot of times she was a friend of Patrick's.

Duh. Patrick was burned, he burned back. Once in a great while all those rumors from that Fall 1992 Vegas weekend resurface like the Great White Whale, and start circulating again. And no one gets it. Patrick was there, and had just been fired.

THAT is gossip. sadly that is reality. Anyone who 1) doesn't laugh hysterically or 2) takes that stuff seriously is nuts.... it's a huge joke. ALL gossip should be taken with a huge grain of salt.
