Gordon has struck a perfect balance IMHO, he talks MUCH about his family, plainly they are important in his life, but he also wisely leaves them at home, and goes back happily to a good home cooked meal when off tour. As I've said before, the one brief glimpse I had of Mrs. Marshall put a big thumbs up for her in MY book. That's all I need to know about him. Better yet, his daughters can attend school without bodyguards.

There is a lot written on all their websites. All you have to do is go out a'searchin'

What's scary is gossip. I can remember when I first got into the fan base back in 1991, and I started writing others on the pen pal list in the OFC newsletter. All the insane unfounded rumors that came back, blblblblbl. Some turned out true, some were pure soap opera garbage. ALL wanted pictures, so that's part of the answer. Some people want nothing more than eye candy. They are content with just the visuals.

Biographies are not always the best reflection of the Person................. case in point, I loved *Amadeus* (the movie) what a shock that was to go see it. Put a whole new perspective to me, that historical characters were real people. A person is so much more than a written biography.

Justin had no one performing with him on the cruise, and Alan will not be with Justin on his solo tour due to previous plans.

Justin started with a couple of Buddy Holly songs, did Tom Rush's "No Regrets", Forever Autumn, and songs from SOTWS.

That's super good news there, Libramate. It might even be posted here somewhere already.............. but we always like to stay well informed.

So Libra mate, does that make you also an Aquarius mate, or a Gemini mate too??? Just curious.

leslee don't rely on this site for all your info............. take a turn through my website once in a while.......... specifically the "cruise" thread.......... I tend to be up on all the Justin info. A bit flaky on the others, but I love 'em all. Norda was hanging with someone named Toomey from the Zombies, for example, but I didn't get it over here where it belongs. She was having too much fun looks like! Sigh, I wish Norda could be with Justin on the solos, I love the flute and guitar thing.

The rest of ya'all are welcome of course, but then you'll gossip about me being a bottom feeder.......... it's much more friendly over on TER. Wink

My brain is too tiny, and the puter too slow. I would love to daydream about all things Justin all day long; but then he would have a bad case of the creepy-creepies, and my fat tummy would cry, "Feed me! Feed me!"

I wonder what Alan will be up to while Justin does his solo thing. Norda said something to that effect. Alan is well thought of by many in the jazz world.... I just haven't had time to track him down.

I'm really impressed by Alan. I'd love to learn to play like him, but I don't think my eyes would be good enough. I also enjoyed watching Bias float so easily from keyboard to keyboard. I liked Patrick Moraz' work, too. I especially liked Justin's ST comments about Mike in the mic. That's cool how he could be so two-ways at the same time - I think.

I haven't had time to listen to the Westbury videos........... but I did think Norda looked really well, and beautiful. She seems happy with her marriage.... a very good thing. Laugh

I haven't even taken the time to suppose that any Westbury videos would be posted. Last night, I dreamed a former manager set up a cot with a blanket for me and told me I needed some rest. I was ever so grateful, but there was so much to talk about. I hadn't seen him in 30 years, and everything he was saying was terribly interesting.

It looks like Mike and Julie will be doing the meet and greet stuff this tour. Spotted a photo of them. That's super nice of Justin actually to let them get the attention.

They always do that. Is Yoshi charging a premium, or will Justin be brave? I may bite, but my teeth are dull, and they might fall out. I"m socially awkward beyond measure, but biting is not my preferred mode of showing appreciation. Please, Mr. NSA Man, please ask Justin to think about hanging out with strange people for a few, and I'll think about what it takes to become socially acceptable. Please? Pweeeeze?

Well I got the more expensive Yoshi ticket to have a closer seat. Meet and greet.......... you go with the flow there. I would like to meet Julie and Mike super briefly, don't plan to fawn or anything. They seem nice folks.

So dinner in Oakland at 6 pm?? Should I call and confirm the reservations? Or will you be running the streets? ;) we're going Dutch BTW

yes, he's sitting right across the room from me! LaughLaugh

We'll sort all that out later. I make no demands, but I'm determined to have one decent dinner at Yoshi's. There's a meet and greet along with those premium tickets... some photos show Justin some do not.... I guess we take it as it comes.

You mean like, he's always there, but there's none so blonde as those who will not see?

Actually I was worried that the meat and greet would include Lady Gaga :P

I don't see blonde.... too many in my family. I'm an outlier being a dark haired hussy.

Back on topic, I guess the Reflections tour did ok............ haven't heard much back.

Norda is doing well! She has a really good voice, I'll have to post that video of her. Anyway she'll be doing a charity event Sept 12 with Gordy, in London.
