well he looked ok in the video the night before.... he's a big boy, leslee. And, sad to say, my ox was not being gored this time. And I went through it in 2011 with him croaking right in front of me (Eugene), and he survived. Poor man, it must be frustrating... .but it's also God's way of telling us all that we're mortal, when we get sick and our body fails us. No man or woman is a machine.

Justin's a smart cookie. He'll do what's best for himself and the band.

Yeah, but he's so nice in every way, I hate to think of him suffering - and I especially don't want the rest of the tour to be cancelled. It's wicked being stuck here and powerless. He's done so much to make my life better - from creating and performing the inspirational music, to the insights he shares in interviews, to the love that he radiates. I still like the thought of doing good things for good people. This fan scene makes me want to tie myself into a knot sometimes.

I also want to thank John and the other guys in the band for stepping up and filling in.
