They think values on the property will go right down if the family next door is blue.......

Peter Paul and Mary "I'm in love with a big blue frog"

love to stay up and chat, but I'm really overloaded and tired. It's been a long week already and I still have recycles to get out....

1. Good point.

2. One of those little girls I mentioned earlier was making a card for her dad. She drew a one-eyed monster on it. I suppose I'd recognize him if I kept up with pop culture. Anyway, I told her to caption it, "This is dedicated to the one-eye love."

On that subject, did you ever notice how Victoria's Secret models usually only have one eye?

3. I got to go home after 14 hours last night. I needed a break, as I'd been here 18 and 18.5 hours the last two days. What me whine? It's tour season! Sleeplessness can make for interesting posts. It's keeping the eyes functioning that's tricky.

Interesting.............. it's all a matter of perspective............ for example, I got into some ancient sake that's been in the back of the liquor cabinet for YEARS (bought it for Dad long ago) and it's pretty potent........... WEEEEEE gotta celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What WILL the new tour bring? Always the question of the hour.

Monsters Inc. Nice pun, one. Haven't seen it yet either.

Actually I was dragging tail before that sake, now I feel all up and attem......... go figure!!!!

My other Monsters, Inc. story is when I was working at McDonald's, a mother rejected the Barbie toy in her happy meal so as not to give her daughter false expectations about body image. I replaced the Barbie with the One-Eye Love.

Good job. Always make the customer happy. I hope the little darling grows up to be a fashion model. Did you know that Barbie was originally intended to be an adult toy??? Or so I've heard.............

I think I'll stop there. Remind me to tell you off line about my Barbies. I still have mine somewhere... collectible I think.

My favorite was the intergalactic beauty contests. I remember the Street Sweeper from Mars. I think it was GI Joe with his head off and that big stump serving to replace it. It had two dolls with fuzz-bomb hair on the feet and two with long hair on the hands.

Wonder why I'm such a mess? Thanks for reminding me.

You should run right out and see *Toy Story* (the first one) GREAT toy designs in there!!!! Someone with a very sick childhood!!!! Laugh

I swear to you, yesterday I passed a hearse all done up in pink, and it said on the side "Barbie's Dream Hearse" this is no kidding. And me with no camera. It didn't help that I was going to a funeral. Thankfully I didn't wreck the car laughing.

My stalker buddy also says that. Yes. All things testify that he must marry me. I should be happy. Rock stars have hundreds of these types. They also have fan boards where they can throw them all for group therapy.

AH you've recognized it! YES this is very free group therapy!!!

Your stalker's only coincidence is he's male, you're female, and he's horny. Sounds like a real geek. Stop wearing dresses around him.

It's the Quantum mechanics in the chemical messages between your brain neurons.

It all goes back to polarity in the cell.... you should study the Kreb's cycle. There's some fun reading!

Are you insinuating my neural transmissions are more quantized than others? Is that why I am such a high-maintenance fan? Perhaps adding diversity to my diet could introduce trace elements so the de-excitations will complete fuller spectrum. And then? I'll think I'm in love with my imaginary friend. Oh, wait. I already am.

no no don't suck me into another discussion on souping up the neurotransmitters..................... (actually it's probably the receptor sites that matter) If we ran like electrical creatures, we should be sucking straight salt to help with the electron flow.............. not carrot juice. Which has absolutely no electrical properties at all.

ugh on both carrots and salt!!!

yer looping. It's high powered OCD IMHO. You're in good company.................. and if one is happy in the loop, I guess one can stay in the loop. It's all about being happy, isn't it?

I'm starting to think the Moodies have their own loop they're in, only from the other side.

Good nighty you've exhausted me with the perseverance.

Me happy when I come here and I see you've replied to a lot. Me still lowdown because, if I heard my boss correctly this morning, I've turned this place into a circus, and I'm a spy and a thief.

What is spin? Charge and mass explain all of macroscopic physics, but now I want to toy with chemistry - to while away all the hours I waste in waiting.

Oh dear it's dementia. Mom and Dad both went through that phase, everyone was out to get them. Most important, if there are firearms around the house, make sure they are put away where he can't get them. Also hide the keys to the car, and if these things can't be done, you need to call the relatives, and advise them that he's dangerous. I'll talk to them if you want..... I actually have the credentials.... and sadly the experience.

My Dad was quite the bully, and it was really tough getting the keys away from him. But I didn't want him killing a mother and her kids out weaving around on the road. Didn't care if he wiped himself out, but a car is a deadly weapon in the wrong hands. He sure was upset when I pinned him. THAT really upset him.... poor old fellah was so weak.

When you have time, go through the house on the sly, and look for firearms. Please. You never know what these old coots will do.

Spin is what my head is doing.... three hours of sleep last night and for some reason I'm hyped up. last night it was the cough syrup .... couldn't sleep. Aarrrggghhh...

Don't let it get to you. Remember to have compassion, but keep EVERYONE safe. Safety is the most important thing.

". . . I'll keep you safe and warm and free from harm. It's understood. . . ."

I'll have to look into this safety thing. It sounds really good.

It's magical math. Take a room full of students. Have one flip cards calling them out (Ace of spades, jack of diamonds etc) have another person who can't see write them down.

Then do it fast...... write down the time. Do it slow... write down the time.......

Go back and see how many you got right fast, then slow (which means you have to keep the cards in order)

When you graph it (time on the X axis, number correct on the Y), you get a lovely S shaped curve. It works too, did it with a bunch of 8th grade hooligans ............. it's called the speed accuracy trade off. I have no idea why an S shaped curve, but it's always S shaped.

It's comforting to know that there are really people out there with numbers and instruments who feel they have found evidence of the Big Bang. As we all know "we see what we want to see and hear what we want to hear" and I would suspend judgement a bit. But it DOES come back to a fundamental question. Who/What kicked off the whole process???
