Oh, P.S., I dreamed last night - get this - I was going to a Moodies' concert. It was GA, and we were waiting at the front of the line for good seats. Justin was going to sing from a podium, and the pit seats were too close, so I settled for one of two or three behind. The auditorium was filling up. I waited, and waited, and waited - I eventually woke up. It's this recurring theme. Going to see a Moodies show and waiting, but seldom staying in the dream long enough for Justin to occur.

There's a name for "hearing light" but I've forgotten it. You might google that phrase on line. Yes it does happen.

But I agree with the primal fear comments. There was no sound (unless it was below my normal hearing range, yes I felt some of that), just a deep feeling that Cthulhu was going to come out of that chuck/bite taken out of the sun. Yes, it's disturbing on a deep level to see "the universal order" out of whack like that. Must have terrified ancient people.

Hello I must be going.... things to do here, my house is a pigsty as per usual after a long work week. Consider pleasant dreams and visions, like cherry trees. Gonna pick me some daffodils today for my powder blue pitcher and set on my table.

This one wasn't powerful, just stupid. I was out of town with two cars and could only drive one back. A nice man from the gas station was trying to help me with my dilemma. Then, all these animals started coming around the group of people with whom I was associating. It started with a pack of wolves, then there was a giant grizzly. Then, there was a tiger. I don't recall who else showed up, but it slowly dawned on me that these were dangerous animals. My sister was doing something to distract them with a laser, and I pulled the lighter that has been in my boss' console since the peeps who stole his car left it there. I was flashing the lighter and fancying myself as holding the animals at bay. Then, I think it was the tiger or one of the wolves came and started eating the lighter. He kept eating the flames and remained unscathed. There was more craziness - a friend from church ripped her dress, the gas station dude gave me a handful of quarters, etc.

A wolf eating a flame... wow that's metaphorical! Maybe my spirit animals (or helper) was over paying a visit. Bad wolf! (Stop scaring leslee.) Actually given those circumstances, I'd take my chances with the wolves. THEM I understand. And they'll keep the grizzly off you too.

Alas I can offer nothing that marvelous. I dreamed about a dead parrot (African grey) ..... she had been caught in a storm. Well she was still alive, but not in very good shape. I was wondering where I could find an eye dropper to get some water in her, about the time I woke up.... brrrr.

Unfortunately, the metaphor is lost on me.

I haven't had any dreams I can remember, but when I wake up, I feel like I've been in a nice place.

Justin popped into my dreams the other night. I'd post all the details but I'd be a bit embarrassed. It wasn't what one would think, and it wasn't X rated either. Confused sorta shocked myself.

He really is a nice guy. He'd be nice to be friends with, but he has a busy life I'm sure, no time for goofy fans.

Part of the conundrum is, "if you're a fan, there must be something wrong with you" and I don't think that's true. It's just that fan boys and girls are looked at as a little weird in society in general. One of my family members is very judgemental of me about it, and I ignore as much as I can (to pay attention I'd have to fight about it, then the fight becomes the issue, not the fan girl status)

All of us are passionate about SOMETHING. Laugh All of us believe in something beyond our dull and drab existence.

(My existence isn't all THAT drab.... ) Go forth and enjoy "where you are" for right now.

Just musing. Cool

Had a very funny dream last night, I was in a grocery store.... typical place, but they had a LOT of strawberries for some weird reason. Frozen strawberries, organic, candied, juices....

This particular grocery store had a lot of dogs in it. One person had a Shepard pup about 6 months old, and did NOT know how to handle him. Then at the electric door, there were some police and they were trying to herd a crazy loose running dog into the grocery store too. There was a really nice view out a high window, and I was watching some planes take off in the distance... it was like a huge lake I was looking over in the dark, and glowing stars were in the water. Somehow Robin Williams got into the dream, but I'm not sure how.... anyway I woke up thinking about him.... What Dreams May Come.

I had the most curious dream this morning (right before getting up is the best REM sleep) I had wandered onto this ranchette, a small farm and there was a family living there... mostly teens. I had come there to help out some people (the Mom and Dad?) I saw pull out with a horse trailer, only it wasn't together and some parts fell off. Anyway not to belabor details, I peeped into their living space inside (very tidy, while the outside yard was a wreck, chickens, cats etc) Then someone came in, it was a large owl in people clothing.... YIKE... back outside I went, and somehow I had a magic powder I used the whole bunch of them lit up orange and black, glowing.... a bear came in with a hurt foot (yes we were in a sort of circle) they all had these auras. The bear turned into a chunky young man.... really quite a fun dream. I think all those teens were like shape shifters.

THEN this morning I got up and found this on my feed. Bears are following me.... it's highly unusual because usually Bear Dancers are dudes. Putting the Bear with the feminine is a very spiritual thing.

What goes around comes around. After a week of wanting to get Marie and Andy (and the rest of the world, for that matter) back in the gazebo where everything was truth, beauty, and love - I dreamed last night my stalker had bought a grave plot next to mine. My family (in the dream) had a plot we were all going to buried on, and all were gone but me, so I couldn't move myself within the cluster without disturbing somebody's grave. I couldn't go to another piece of turf without upsetting their wishes. I wasn't worried so much about waking up in horror on Resurrection Day as I was implied consent. I mean, the headstones were already there and engraved. (It didn't occur to me to see when my checkout time was, though.)

The moral of the story, if I grasp it, is romantic love is the exclusive domain of mutual consent - but for some weird reason I can't watch that video without smiling.

At least in this little adventure I'm happy to say I've gained new respect for Marie Osmond. When I was little, I only looked at her "faults" (like dressing, dancing, or singing with more impropriety than your average nun). However, after reading/watching gobs of interviews and performances; I see her as somebody who treats people lovingly, lifting people up in so many ways.

Do hallucinations/delusions/misperceptions count? I've been obsessing over the Andy/Marie thing, as you know, listening to them in the background. I was driving the Evo to a walking spot yesterday and singing, "Everlasting Love" in the car with my best Andy Gibb impersonation when this person turned in front of us. We made eye contact, him obviously looking at me because I was head-dancing as I am wont to do when I sing in my car; and me because he looked like Andy Gibb from the Osmond Valentine's Special old timey skit, except he was covered in what looked like ashes. As an ophthalmologist might say, this is not an acuity problem.

The post posted, but I was told my math was wrong, (6 + 18 is 36, isn't it?) and then I was told I exceeded flood control when I was typing slower than my beloved pet escargot, which I do not have. Rather than trying to delete a post and make everybody think I was bad-mouthing them, I posted something stupider than usual. Sorry y'all.

My policy is to always blame the computer.

I'm up on Easter eve about 3 am local (PST) and was over leaving Easter baskets for my grand children. They were very cute yesterday, son and daughter in law engaged in being domestics, baby crawling around having a grand time exploring and her big brother upside down on the couch doing video games. Family is good.

Anyway the vision part was.... my eyes were unfocused and the last gibbous moon had a halo or a glory around it. Jupiter is also up all night right now, so it was enjoyable looking at the stars, and Seattle over across the water. No magical messages, just a lot of visual beauty. Not sure I'm going to make it to sunrise, might take a bath then crawl back into bed.

Happy Easter to all.

PS oddly I've been getting a lot of "bad math" flags lately too. Again I blame the system, not me. Laugh

I had no clue that second post posted twice. What were we talking about, if I may end a clause with a preposition? Oh. I haven't mentally/spiritually gone anywhere of late. I klutzed around all week; presumably a horizontal growing spurt. I dropped, skinned, banged up, and burnt myself and whatever came near. So now, reality is biting. I sit with my feet on the desk, leisurely taking time out for some deferred smarting.

I had a very weird dream of being "back in that theatre" must be some dream version of the theatre at Cal Poly that I spent a couple of years in (I was a theatre major then) Jumped off the balcony at one point. There was more to it, but I've forgotten it already, should have written it down.

Home today, most of the teachers are staying at work today because it's the beginning of the semestre. The end of year looms once again. News is fascinating all over the Internet. I hope the Boss isn't an O'Reilly fan.... and I'll let you catch up with that yourself. Sigh, all the funniest people on the channel will leave with him I suspect. We all retire someday I guess.

Our generation is being side lined, bit by bit.... Confused

Mingling threads, I wouldn't be surprised to find the hit on conservative media was not unintentional. I actually used to enjoy it until all the infobabes and dudes went starry-eyed over the god-emperor. As posted elsewhere, there is a pattern. One might infer people were offered verboten until they took it and then told to shill like hades or the videos would come to light.

The boss is glued to Fox, and I must listen to them telling me I am a moron for not turning worship autocracy on a dime. The worst is when they go after people of conscience, saying people who work for equality under the law are only stroking their big, fat egos to elevate themselves in the eyes of their peers in order to get more power. (You don't want to hear about the worst of these episodes on the local scale, but you can Google it easily if you just type in my name. Oh, yes. I couldn't possibly have read the Constitution and known anything about human rights. I had to be going to city council meetings to seduce my way to power. As I said, don't get me started.) This brings down the tone of the thread, though.

The last dream I remember pertained to halitosis, so I don't know that is any better.

Paying you back for the thread commingling..... LaughLaugh

I'm gratified to see The Five on at 6 pm. I really like that show, and I'm glad Jesse Watters is going to stick around, along with Greg Gutfeld. They are anything but starry eyed IMHO. Please be nice to the Boss, I suspect he's gone into deep shock over the "dramatic changes" on his news station, as Dana Perrino just put it. One thing is certain about life..... nothing lasts forever. Me mum would be in a serious tail spin if she was still here.

I can't stand Tucker Carlson, his show is "all that is bad" about Fox and any other debate heavy news show. All they do is find the most annoying person then pick a fight. It's toxic. He tried to debate Bill Nye, and while I don't swallow Nye's Kool aid about Global Warming, he made Tucker look stupid because Tucker knew nothing about it. (I could have fried Nye myself, he's thrown critical thinking out the window) Time to flip on Star Trek... or take a nice long walk.

OK we now return control of this thread to the subject of strange visions and dreams. What is "strange"??

I was in South Carolina when a guy on the radio said anytime they split the screen, putting talking heads in separate boxes, he changes the channel before they start screaming at each other. I never understood the Springer factor and hope I never do, so I'll make no effort. One dood, who challenged Fox' agenda during the 2016 election, got "taken down" by Tucker. He said later that when he got put in his box, the timing of the host's questions was delayed so when he started to answer he'd be talking over the host. It is a shame. Me mum used to like Tucker because she said he leaned libertarian. I wasn't around TV's a whole lot then. That was when Sean Hannity used to read my mind we were so aligned on the Constitution, personal liberty, laissez-faire economics, etc.

Frankly, I'm glad to see Fox blow up. They turned their back on conservativism to support an authoritarian at any cost. They were not a news station, but along with other operatives at the conventions, etc., were shillers for a whimsical authoritarian. I remain an unhappy camper. In fact, I had to call for ecclesiastical help when that certain person won his party's nomination. So many conservatives played out the story found in Mark 4. It was unreal. It wasn't supposed to be able to happen here and all. At least the Cato Institute hasn't lost its mind and sold out. [APPLAUSE]

As for the boss, he will go with whatever Rush and Fox tell him; and I've heard him tell people I agree with him. I keep my mouth shut, which makes me a little Nazi, I suppose. I mean, when these gorgeous babes with big hair and long legs cackle about how amazing the stupidity of the god-emperor is; who's going to listen to the uninformed opinions of the hired help? Using pretzel logic to veer back on subject, the recurring vision is that illustrated at the end of the Planet of the Apes - Charlton Heston on the beach coming upon the buried monument to liberty. I can't repeat what he said, and you shouldn't, either; but I thought people had stronger convictions is all.
