I dreamed Karen not-Cole and other Moodies insiders got me a free, used ticket in Row U to a Moodies concert in Wyoming. The boss would never approve, and I was uncertain about funding, but I couldn't say no. I would destroy myself to go if it were my last act in this life. Then, my stalker materialized out of thin air in my car. Dream over.
But what does it mean when my imaginary friend wants a dream lover? I think it means if he deigned to speak to me (which he won't because you're not supposed to engage groupie fanaticism) he'd say, "See You Later, Alligator."
I really want to go to Arizona, but I am at the mercy of expenditures and time off. The Moodies will be in Durham next week. The logical thing is to go, but I had a bad feeling about it. Then, just today, city council - that body that nobody else in this town is lowdown scummy enough to cover for the local newspaper - called a special meeting for that night. Justin? Despicable politics? Justin? Despicable politics? That's easy, but when you ask if I want to do my duty or go have some fun, it changes everything.
I want to go to Arizona and all the California shows, but I am not rich, and I need to visit my parents on my time off, and all that.
I shall delay my answer unless you wave some front-row tickets under my nose.
I don't have your tickets, but I'm sure they'll surface. I need to start making my reservations here and there. I think my brother is dragging his wife off in a trailer (wonder how long that will last... hehe you'd don't know my sister in law) but he wants out of Arizona pretty badly, that's for sure. I'm STILL talking these furslugginer books to him, and dumping them on his front doorstep if I have to.
May/June is gonna be one helluva adventure for me, that's for sure. I can't wait. I'm working very hard now to earn it.
Duty IS important... and I've done plenty of that rather than do shows. What happens happens, eh?
Last night, I dreamed of the Scorpions. Kottak was in a movie and he was playing dead, quite well, on the beach. We were expecting an important communication from Mattie. I haven't been able to remember the rest all day. I guess it wasn't all that powerful, but I think Pavel and Rudy showed up here and there as well.
Last night, I kept having dreams about Moodies concerts. They weren't powerful, just the usual anxiety stuff. They had a new flute player that looked kind of like Ray, and their lead singer had gray hair, sunglasses, and a long moustache. I had just seen Justin a week ago with his normal hair, and I couldn't believe it was the same guy. I was with the roadies setting up. We had to move pews into the pit. One guy was moving two at a time by himself, but I couldn't even lift one. So, I assumed responsibility for carrying the Sharpies - one for every high-paying fan. I was trying to apply the logistics of moving the pews to moving the Sharpies and slowly seeing that this and that did not apply. In another dream, I had two good seats for two shows that never started.
See? I do get to sleep after all.
On the subject of UFO's, I'm still a fan of the Avrocars:
I've dreamed of some darn weird flying stuff... I used to chase plane shadows when I was very small, pretending I was flying in one... we had an airport near our house. Anyway I love air planes, hear two of them buzzing the house today, looked up and these two guys were flying tandem running up the coast. Later a new jet engine could be heard, I looked up and it was a very modern executive jet headed into SEA TAC. We live in a flyway here, see lots of planes coming out of Boeing Field and SEA TAC both. I love sitting on the front lawn in the summer, watching them. when the Blue Angels come to Seattle, we can see much of the show from our house. VAARRrrrooooommmmmm............. (dopplering away)........
I'm with you about helicopters however. They make me nervous, and while I've worked around them, I always keep one eye on them for unexpected movement. Wild horses couldn't get me into a helo. As for planes, I have no great desire to fly in them now (only in rare cases). I'm content to watch them from the ground. Airplanes really are your wildest dreams technically .... one day I'll have to convert that video I did with *Wildest Dreams* over all the *Top Gun* footage.........
I want to fly - or is it skip and skid - an Avrocar. Those things looked as out of control as me, but it may have been counterintel for all I know.
I watched vapor trails from an air show yesterday as I was driving down the road. I also saw the sky light up blue a couple times at night. Obviously I am causing transformers to blow, sucking their "energy" to become the Hulk. Maybe I'm bursting at the seams from eating too much. I don't know which.
You want jet contrails, try Bakersfield first thing in the morning on a weekday. I woke up there after seeing a Moody show once, loaded the car, and overhead in a clear blue sky were about 30 contrails of planes flying between LA and SF. Pretty amazing. We used to fly right over (up) the San Andreas coming into Moffett (I flew a few times in our P3s when I was still in the Navy) Quite amazing, the pilots would do banks sideways so you could see the ground right out the window.
Wiring definitely dies when it seems me coming. They know what destruction I can do to a faulty circuit.
"she tied in a knot to create an induction nightmare"
I'll show you my L if you'll show me yours.........
Naw all my dreams of Justin (or other Moodies) seem to "cast" them as just regular persons. People who are nice to visit with and be around. They come over as feelings, rather than visual images. I don't know how other people dream, but mine are always concepts and shadows rather than clear cut images.
Alas I haven't dreamed music in a long time. Music is always other worldly in dreams.
