Until the sun doesn't shine
'Till time stands still
Until the winds don't blow
When today is just a memory to me
I know I'll still be loving
I'll still be loving Justin
I'll still be loving Justin
I'll still be loving
I'll still be loving Justin
I'll still be loving
I'll still be loving Justin
I'll still be loving
I'll still be loving Justin"
-Restless Heart
I looked up the words to that song two above, and they're kind of dark. That's not what I meant. Olivia does keep changing her hair if not her teeth, though.
I try to find the right song, but all the good ones are about people who are physically involved, and it would be cruel to insinuate Justin has any reciprocation in this most wonderful crush I enjoy because of him, even though I wish I could return the favor. This one might be more appropriate:
BWWWhahahah!!!! Trump is doing poetry now!!!! I tell you the guy continues to amuse ME!!! LOL There is a similar story Chakotay tells on Star Trek Voyager, about the scorpion who begs a fox for a lift across the river. The fox isn't hot on the idea, afraid the scorpion will sting him. The scorpion says "oh now I won't do that!!!!! " so the trusting Fox takes the scorpion on his neck. Half way across the river, the scorpion yes stings the fox. As the fox dies, he asks the scorpion "WHY!!!! Now we will BOTH die, you will drown!!!" the Scorpion replied "It's my nature. I can't change that." so... it's in my ear right now...
PS I'm very glad you and Justin are on the same page "Love will reign again" etc.... love makes you feel very good and floods you with endorphins.
But in my experience, I've picked up one too many snakes. I seem to be attracted to them in fact. Maybe I need to talk to Dr. Freud about that.
I think it was Ayn Rand who said "If your heart and your head are in conflict, follow your head"....
Speaking of being a ditz a few posts ago (and this has nothing to do with Justin), I went to the grocery store twice for the boss this week, and both times, I left the bank bag in the shopping cart and had to return to the store to retrieve it. Fortunately, the people around here are really nice and honest.
I think we were on line at the same time. I wasn't paying attention sorry.... I'm a little off my feed lately. It's cold here and last week was a wreck, next week is shaping up nicely into another wreck. I have a lot of chores to do today not least of which is chainsaw some overgrown bushes that are destroying my chain link fence.
The technique is to love everybody and see the good in them. If it works, it is because it is sincere free xbox gift card generator
Oscars are on my internal juke right now, it's actually mildly amusing tonight. Mark Hamill showed up and he's very funny, relaxed kind of guy. He doesn't have to play ANY game.... and says so. They thankfully are leaving politics out of it tonight (finally, guess that "lack of ratings" message got through to them all) big year for Hispanic culture (fine with me, enjoying it!)
They have some really good incidental music, like Cole Porter music. Some of it's lame, but overall pretty nice.
I started singing this while making breakfast and doing some dishes this morning (no idea why, but I do love the Mexicali area) .... my mom loved it and I picked it up off her. Went out to find it on youtube, and found two horrible versions, it's a 3/4 waltz (I'm sure a lot of Okie honky tonks played it for the dance floor) easily mangled with the western "Umm pah pah" thing. Bob Wills did it etc. Anyway this is a very pretty song with good structure, and Gene Autry had a lovely voice IMHO. Just thought I'd share. This isn't too bad a version.
I was just driving home from grocery shopping, and this came on the radio.... part of The Score, which plays on weekends (king.org classical) They had a much better mix than this, but it's one of my favorite movies, Master and Commander. All that swash buckling and historical costumes, Galapagos, tall ships.... may just watch that tonight.
Anyway enjoy. Picture if you will, sailors dancing to 3/4 time.
I heard this on the way to work today, I'm getting the Beatles and Sirius radio for a few weeks. I always liked the song anyway (not paying much attention to the lyrics) and this was hilarioius!!! I was also put in mind of the "soul" song the Roots rendered at the RRHOF... she went over board... this cat is really doing some good screaming funk soul. Marvelous. It WILL wake you up!!!
After that, Breakfast with the Beatles told all us listening Apple Scruffs to have a good day, and played (after flipping a coin) "Across the Universe" which brought tears to my eyes, thinking not only of John and Justin singing it for the Tribute, but also of people who have passed on, and all those ghostly letters floating around in the world from fans, from everyone.... slithering as all those letterboxes tumble across the Universe...
(Can't post that 'cause Beatles songs aren't on youtube... they have good lawyers)
By Paul and Linda McCartney
So I sat in the attic, a piano up my nose,
And the wind played a dreadful cantata. (cantata, cantata)
Sore was I from a crack of an enemy's hose
And the horrible sound of tomato. (tomato, tomato)
Catch up! (catch up!)
Super fury
Don't get left behind. (get left behind)
Catch up (catch up!)
Super fury (super fury)
Don't get left behind. (get left behind, get left behind, get left behind)
When a rattle of rats had awoken
The sinews, the nerves and the veins.
My piano was boldly outspoken
In attempts to repeat this refrain.
So I stood with a knot in my stomach,
And I gazed at that terrible sight,
Of two youngsters concealed in a barrel,
Smoking monkberry moon delight, (om pah om pah pah) ho!
Monkberry moon delight, (om pah om pah pah)
Monkberry moon…

Screaming jay Hawkins added some lyrics.... and a few got jiggled around eh? It was a really good laugh on the way to work.

Ketchup (ketchup)

Sucking monkberry moon delight

And my hair is a tangled beretta
When I leave my pajamas to Billy Budapest
