Me nots understandings.

This morning, my internal jukebox was playing:

When Justin sings, "I know you're out there somewhere"
I say, "You betta" (You betta you betta you bet)
When he sings, "And somehow I'll return again to you"
I SCREAM, "You betta!" (You betta you betta you bet) ...

Thas wo I said!

It's better than yesterday, when I was singing along with Danzig in the boss' car.

Too often I feel we are on totally different pages, leslee. I shall contemplate my navel on this and get back to you.

Justin can do anything he pleases, including not returning to ME.... he has other things I'm sure he'd rather be doing than see me wash dishes, or climb under my riding mower, cussing about the broken fan-belt.

I was drooled on today, and had the indignity of mistakenly eating some goldfish crackers smeared with tapioca pudding. Then my favorite NASA sweatshirt was dragged through the floor dust (my grand daughter took a serious liking to the zipper on it). I hacked up my rosemary bush to let off energy, time for a quesadilla and bath and bed, in that order. I think. OH forgot I have to pay bills and fold clothing yet.... good night....

It is OK to be on different pages; especially when I'm crazy.

My internal jukebox is playing swoop-B-B♭-B, swoop-B B-B♭-B (because that is the backtracked mystery song on the audio clip I keep reloading because I fall asleep when it gets around to the Justin interview). He's not boring, he just puts me at supreme ease.

That's exciting about your grandbaby. In my subculture, getting slobbered on and having your stuff trampled is the highest of honors. Nobody would trust me with their children. The last girl I worked with got pregnant at age 12. Since I've not seen her, she had her baby. Now, she's 15 years old, in college, and planning to be a doctor.

In the world of the mundane, I got my car fixed today. That is a major stress-reliever The boss' mechanic offered to look at it, since the only dependable folks I know who work on such cars will fix things well, along with half the car. So, I said I'd walk laps around the block with The EVO!, and I kept seeing two guys working on the car. They bill $125/hour. I was getting nervous. But then it was done for $40.21. It's missing a grill, which the mechanic said I could replace with a potato masher It's a little rough, but quite professional. The mechanic builds race cars, so I was hoping he could rivet things back in place, but, except for the part of the bumper that got chewed up in the wheel, it is all like new. They had to pound something else back in place. I heard them talking about it before they shooed me on for more laps. I attribute my boss' influence to such a remarkable experience at the mechanics. I can turn corners without a horrible scraping noise anymore. How wonderful is that?

Whilst out, I picked up some herbs for the illness. Yesterday, I seriously thought I might die. Today, with Listerine, etc., I thought maybe my body would win after all. Anyway, walking around with The EVO! the little bags of herbs all fell out of the pockets. ISS otay. With the big auto savings, I thought today I would get serious about maybe buying a Justin ticket or two. I might even be able to give a friend without much luggage a lift here and there. Yay?

My internal jukebox is still singing about tuna casserole.

I shacked up with an old friend in SLC once (yes I'm a hussy but this was many years ago when I still harbored fantasies about marrying again and maybe having a real family) and someone was always telling jokes about writing their broadcast for the day on a Pampers. I'm very family oriented and would happily have settled into a "normal family" lifestyle so worshiped in your subculture only I never met the right guy. My brother did married a very nice Mormon girl and they have 5 kids and 12 grandkids last I counted. I've lost track. It's all good. The funny thing is two of them married Catholic girls and took up that faith, and the others I have no idea what their belief system is. We're a weird lot spiritually. Not one took up LDS...

One child was plenty for me. My Ex's second child (a daughter) by some twit he met in a bar, had a rough time getting to adult hood but seems a regular gal now and is settled down with a Samoan of all things ( a very nice dude too, but talk about an intense sub culture!!!!) She is without children and seems very happy that way.

Speaking of which we have a couple of GIRLS doing Missionary work in my neighborhood. I was shocked, I know the guys do that, but usually the girls won't take that risk.

I'm glad about your car, if you lived closer I'd take a look at it. I THINK I fixed the riding mower, perhaps tomorrow I'll have the courage to turn it on again. Only took about two hours..... I'm very greasy and need a bath again.

Hasta.

Me thinking of this song, with regrets for what might have been had I not been so contagious, trapped behind the glass curtains of my own passive-aggressive creation.

I woke up humming this song this morning.... Momma used to tell me about her brother on the guitar, and his friend Clarence on the violin, playing on nights off and the whole shack shaking as they stomped on the floor.
