To recap, there are MANY places to discuss and find news about the Moodies other than here, as this forum is unmoderated. I've found that I can pretty well keep up on the news by following these links, and clicking on the "discussions" button at the top. That rolls the most current posts to the top for easy check. Facebook ALSO has many many forums and groups about the Moody Blues, John Lodge, Justin Hayward and so forth. Graeme has his own Facebook, posts occasionally, as does Norda Mullen, Billy Ashbaugh. Julie Ragins and Alan Hewitt. Welcome to the on line Moody community, established sometime during 1990/1991. (and I was there...

I blocked a lot of people on the Moody groups, and only skim them. I block anyone who posts what I feel are brainless harassing posts about Justin (drool, thud etc) and I blocked those who cluttered up my feed with on and on close up photos of Justin, and also anyone who attacks me, zero tolerance or talks snitty, they are blocked. Once in a while someone overloads Moody groups with stuff I found out 20 years ago. It's flattering to the band no doubt for these things to happen, but if they have nothing to offer on Moody groups (from my own selfish perspective) I block 'em. Yeah.... lots of overload on Moody nets.
I also am VERY selective about who I friend. There are many lovely Moody fans I chat with about touring and such, but otherwise, I have nothing in common with them, and some don't want my clutter either.
After all that, Facebook is "manageable" I split off a couple of my Moody groups to another FB account, and go check there when I have the strength. I find more by checking TER and MBA anyway. I only got on FB to see photos of my family and their kids.
The Moodies really have a lot of fans out there. I don't know how they've handled it and remained "human" over the years. I think it came home to me at the Hollywood Bowl, one of the few "Moody Family" people I spotted was Justin's wife, and she wound up sitting right next to the main promenade at the Bowl. I thought I knew most fans, but total strangers who plainly knew who she was were coming up and talking to her (some minor aggression) ... security finally moved in, about five of them. She didn't exactly have a sign hanging on her with her identity, nor did she stand out in the crowd. While a lot of "regular" fans spotted her, we left her alone out of politeness.
So yea. this information overloads one quite quickly.

I suppose with the Texas tour they are going to feel they are queen bees. A little mild passive-aggressive bully tactics on TER, blame someone for harmless (sorta funny) thangs, and everyone will think they are so cute. I had wondered where they were, they must have gotten kicked off MBT. I read that chickenshit attack last night just before bed, then had nightmares about dystopian helicopters invading my nursing home.

(Here's a rule for a radical: If in doubt, go passive aggressive and hope you can recover your power base.)
Yeah right. These bitches are just power mad. Unto schizophrenic and massively in denial. Boomer people are getting older, a little fragile physically and emotional. Some "followers" actually seek "leaders" "point (wo)men" "organizers" in the Moody fan base. What if there was a rock band, and no fan club secretary??? Are we grown up enough? Can we all be nicer and nicer and nicer to each other? Not bullies? Alas most bullies really don't understand when they ARE bullies. They just see threats to their power base.😝"

From what I wrote, I corrected Mango (Sandra Yule) for not posting the correct pre-sale date. It still hasn't been corrected on TER but I got front row seats. Don't ya hate it?

Bonnie, I took offense at the rude whiny "fake hurt" comments your pal Janet leveled at Mango. It was petty and uncalled for. I thought Mango showed remarkable maturity in not buying into the bully tactics.
If you want to be a *Butt* sister, that's your privilege and choice. Don't you think you're being a little paranoid and over reactive? Don't you feel Janet's comments were just a bit toxic?
And I don't understand why you feel you need to clutter up this newsgroup with my blog. Everyone is welcome to go over there and read it as they wish. Quit being weird and blowing things out of proportion.

Thank you Lunazure! I agree with you. Let's keep it civil on this site. We all come here for some good news about the Moody Blues. I for one am grateful for Moody Blues Today, Traveling Eternity Road, Moody Blues Attitude and Blue Heaven for giving all of the wonderful fans out there current and archived information. Where else could we go to get the current touring information? Yes, Ticketmaster and Live Nation email me with tickets that will be available. But, it is even better to know the Tour schedule ahead of time so you can plan your travel and off work time. I have met so many very nice and interesting fans when traveling all over this country to see and experience the greatest band on the planet! Thank you so much Lunazure and all others who kindly share what you know and find out about the Moodies. Take care all and see you on the Moodiescruise in January, 2018. Love!!!!
