Trim them toenails! Heck you don't need them anyway. Trim back, file and keep them polished!!! Reinforced toes also help. Hey here's a trick. When you get a hole, dab nail polish on THAT it seals it, won't run. Good for a few more wears that way.

But they're so, so far away, and this belly thing keeps getting in the way. If you want them polished, how 'bout I let you do it when we rendezvous in Arizona. Any color you want!

NO nononononon (gibbering tone) I don't do no toenails but my own! I had to do Dad's for a while and got a little traumatized. You keep bending over, it's good exercise!!! I would be happy to share my blue nail polish however, and I also have some black.

Spooky orchid wall paint (Valspar "Sassy Lilac" or "Sassy Violet") is my fave.

Google it. It is the perfect shade. I was so impressed Valspar, being earthen-based, could get so pure a violet. I had to do acrylics for ultramarine or royal and spray for hot pink. The bathroom was hot pink, until I tried to get the ink off some PVC we wanted to use for assembly at work. The solvents did not touch the ink, which was baked-in, but it took the color off the wallpaper.

I had a stucco wall painted with Sassy Lilac. It, too, is a beautiful color, but I couldn't stand it after staring at it with a terrible fever. It evoked images of a big, purple creamsicle glacier. It's hard to explain. High fevers work horrible conditioned responses with me. It is why I cannot stand tarentellas to this day.

I plan to paint most of this house in several shades of white. I did see a very nice green the other day in an attic window, with plants too.

We have to dry out first around here!!!! Kiss

Titanium white - how joyous! It saves on the lighting bills and makes reading a whole lot easier. Stark white is also a great color for mesmerizing me.

Eggshell pale white.......... this place is so gloomy I want to brighten it up. Thinking of doing plaster of paris textile blocks for my entry way.... paint it all white. White Roman blinds in log cabin patterns. So many plans so little time

I loved interior decorating. Now it seems a shame to waste money on the arts when everybody around must protest for all the children who, having cell phones, computers with apps and nooks, and all kinds of expensive toys, have no money to eat for days, even with food stamps and soup kitchens galore. Then, any donation to the truly poor gets gobbled up by evil dictators. So, like an uncreative alcoholic, feeling helpless to better anybody's situation, I blow my fortune on Moody Blues concerts and taxes, because that is what is familiar. I've worn the rut, and I know it is safe, in a distorted sense.

Interior decorating........... mostly it's a hodgepodge around here, and I'd really love to clean up a few rooms to live in. We have so many posters and bits of art around here.... If the house could just be WHITE and I could hang some of this stuff up for the color................. plants of course. I have this forest of avocado plants in the front room that sprouted from seeds.

Topic whining. Mostly I whine because I don't have enough TIME. I need a time space hopping ship like Lazarus Long, so I can FIND the time.

Consult Lodgey. He's the master of anachronism.

Lodgey will probably tell you that you will write it - before. I'm not being mean. You know I appreciate Lodgey's sense of humour.

I need to dig those out. Some are dorky and rude, but a couple I rather liked. I was totally obsessed in those days, and went off on mythic plots, starring the Moodies.... ah well. Others have written fan literature too. I run across that bodice ripper once in a while, I should reprint and publish it, then find the author and offer her a cut. Hmmm. There were a whole bunch of off color jests about hot tamales (hot burritos?) as I recall.

On the topic of whining, there's this word "anyway" that works a whole lot better. I tried it last night, and, well, it was rather funny I think. Now a song has come into my mind, so I will hop threads.

I feel like I'm hauling my body around, but my spirit is four days behind it. That is, I'm going through the motions," and I ain't got no soul. Maybe it is sleep I crave.

One of the great things about freelance writing is being to negotiate the pay. That is, I was able to trade in my dual-sponsorship Moogfest press pass for the borrowing of the publisher's credit card to get a semi-decent, semi-cheap ticket before payday. What, me whine?
