Second hint: TG are the initials. Think hair. The family wants me in an asylum for chasing Justin, but they're falling all over themselves that I shook hands with TG; even my dad, who like Mikey, hates everything.

Me is be thinkin' it are plot to have destroyed me when the editor of a big-name, reputable media outlet improperly done be conjugated about four phrases in each article I submitterly. How is-be are me isposed to gets work?

Hey you have my recommendation any time.... you sure slapped me around grammatically, and I'm no slouch at writing ............ sorta ;) Uhm.......... you might branch out and try free lancing with other news organizations. Steinbeck, London, Twain all got their starts in the newspaper business. Reporters are like prostitutes, if you love the work, you'll do anything. Sometimes you even put up with mental midget editors.

(which is why I'm still semi unemployed, I have principles)

It's ok I don't need to know Mr. TG of the fabulous hair, but I'm happy for you. Politics is just super social stuff. Are you following Harry Reid and his contretemps with the cattle men and the solar power facility in Nevada??? He ought to be thrown in jail for kick backs!!!!

I enjoyed technical writing when I was writing about my own research. I despise politics and quoting people, but that is where I petered out. I am on my current job at least fifteen hours a day, and since I never know when I'm getting off, it is hard to commit to another employer. Besides, the boss is very active in politics. I am his domestic, and it upsets the caste system to have the maid talking about things understandable only to the rational mind. In my old age, I see my desire to avoid conflict has drifted me to the bottom of the pond of sludge. I enjoy sparring with you, luna, because you can be reasonable. Most people want to fight with false premises and bad logic, which they tell me is good, and so on, and so on. If I were poor enough, I could see a shrink regularly to prescribe something for this.

Conflict and shyness are for sure obstacles to getting decent work. I have to go butter someone up today and try to get a letter of recommendation. Since I think he was trying to pick me up it's a bit scary.

yea I understand the pecking order thing. I'm youngest in my family, two older brothers.... been a lifetime fight to find an assertive identity.

Thank you for listening... and besides, I kept the couch warm for you Wink

Thanks, Doc. I feel like a million bucks, now. I'm all wound up about Moogfest next week. I'm going to let the boss know I have some time-off requisitions I want to discuss tomorrow.

I went through the schedule, and it looks like I'll be attending about 11 hours of workshops. I could have attended more, but I just opted for the most of the most. I just zeroed in on the sound tech stuff. Then, there were a couple physicists that I almost jumped through the computer to learn more about their lines of work. Moog has a great hype department; so great, it is breaking me down. It isn't great enough to sell me on the weird stuff, like artistic interpretations and guys who sound like they're keeping their tenure with snow-jobs. I'm not going to attend any of the concerts. I'm lusting for knowledge. I may have mentioned on the obliterated board the composer who made me nauseous a couple years ago with his art. Well, he's coming back and he's going to be at a workshop, too. I'll be giving him a pass, fer-sher. Come to think of it, most of the music there was horrible, and I like synth music. Besides, I'm spolt (which is Southern for spoyulled) by going to too many concerts by the best band.

I know I'm not getting enough sleep, but sitting here and going to bed isn't cutting it anymore. Whether that is cause or excuse, I'm also going to crank out some sewing. I even have everything I need without improvising - which is not an invitation to you-all to "look at my seams." So, there was this weird thing I got in the mail about a rock-star sewing contest. I shall pass. It is supposed to reward creativity, but you have to use their patterns. I think the prize would have been well worth trying to do something creative without stepping outside a pattern, but I was half asleep when I read the flyer. I can post details if anybody is interested. luna?

Doctor! Doctor! What is this throbbing in my body. Is this red stuff actually supposed to flow? Creepy.

something for the Moogfest. I wish you could have sat in on the opera lecture I did today... really wonderful and free at the library.

Fascinating about the rock star sewing contest. Especially in light of us liking the Moodies so well, and in light of the fact they appear to pull stuff off the rack to wear. (Nice stuff admittedly). I rarely buy patterns since I make my own, and have boxes of old patterns which are easily modified (I'm sure their patterns were expensive too) but I did run across a very nice one today, Simplicity 1417. I'm still thinking about buying it.... check it out if you swing by a fabric store in the near future, I think you'd like it.

Also thinking about how little we truly have to whine about, considering the wonders which surround us. I'm not a churchy type (I believe this song was written about Falwell and all his cohorts) I do plan to go out on the lawn tomorrow and try to see the sun rise... and think good Christian thoughts.

PS I got to help with an Easter egg hunt for 70 Kindergarteners yesterday. I MUST love my job because I found it really cute and fun, not horrifying. What a really fun evolution!!!! heheh still laughing. Cute little spuds, all of 'em. Alas my grandbaby already did his egg hunt and it looks like rain here tomorrow.... wet grass :P

Happy Easter to all!!!

My teeth are cracking fast enough. I don't need the extra reflux - nor do the housemates need to hear me trying to get the chunkies out of my nose at 3:00 a.m. - AGAIN!

Back to Easter, I recommend reading St. John straight through. It has a way of relaxing me.

One day I'll dive into the Bible, along with all the literature on that time period I can grab.... for example I just read Cleopatra's biography. Those were very interesting times. When I visited Monticello (right near you actually, you should go) they showed us a curious thing Jefferson had done, he had chopped up a Bible, and re-assembled it "in order of occurrence" that is taken all the various books and put them in a sort of time line thing. I want to do that sometime. There's also miscellaneous books which have been left out "apocrypha" ............ I liked Bill O'Reilly's *Killing Jesus* too, it was pretty interesting, to view the whole thing historically rather than as it's usually viewed.

then try eating peanut butter and skip the bread. Wheat gives ME reflux.
