I'm very fond of dogs, it's ok with me. You might want to check with customer service first.

There is a hilarious story in Dr. Doolittle about how he smuggles a seal dressed in ladies clothing into a coach, so he can get her to the sea and free her. They tried to do it in the movie, but it lost in translation. Like something out of Monty Python... Hugh Lofting could really write... so, maybe I can bring like some really baggy clothing and we can smuggle her in as our third.

Is the cruise ship like a hotel or an airplane? That is, may we bring dangerous objects - like shampoo - on board, or are they already provided? What about nail clippers? food? underwear? One never knows these days.

I tend to leave sharp objects like nail clippers and pocket knives at home. Handy as they can be, my nails can just go for a week until I get home. There really isn't enough time to clip your nails so do it the day before you leave.

Shampoo, personal liquid stuff is ok. That's a good question actually. I suspect they just have the luggage sniffed by a dog, which is why we all need to be on board like two hours prior to launch. Gives them time to find "suspicious" stuff and then find the person attached to it, and eject them.

When you buy hootch on the shore, they also take that away (usually large bottles, sometimes it's cheaper on shore) just in case you decide to make a Molotov cocktail or something.

Don't be bringing fresh fruit either. I smuggled on some dried mangos last time, it might have been illegal. Some gals on the first cruise had a thing about bananas and tried to smuggle THOSE off and were busted. (Graeme joke) The food is free on board. No money required. They only charge for the alcoholic drinks.

It's a floating hotel that has propellers on the back. All clothing is ok, we had bath robes in the room for the last cruise, and towels are provided everywhere. I think there is shampoo in the showers, but I like my own creme rinse so I shall bring some.
