After I wrote all that, for some really weird reason, the theme to *Xanadu* kept bopping around my head. Took me a while to figure it out (my head's super abstract this morning, sorry, a little drifty) I think the Greeks had their own way of talking about "multiple intelligences" and attributed those to the Nine Dancing muses. So I went over to the Wiki for their names and attributes. Some aren't exact matches, but it sorta works.
Dance, sports--Terpsichore
Music--Euterpe
Languages, poetry -- Calliope
(life sciences?) (natural?) history-- Clio
Stage Tragedy (visuals, intrapersonal: tragedies were what they used instead of psychology in the Greek world) -- Melpomene
Intrapersonal (Religion)-- Polyhymnia
Stage comedy (Interpersonal, stage visuals) -- Thalia
Math (astronomy)-- Urania
Pornography, sexual arts (life sciences) lyrical poetry -- Erato
I also found this on the Wiki (smiles)
'According to Pindar, to "carry a mousa" [muse] is "to excel in the arts".'
What we cognitive types think, and this is still very much up for debate, is all these "intelligences" might actually be different brain centers. It's possibly a reflection of real brain architecture.
[advance warning, no "left brain right brain" stuff, that sort of thinking is super passe]
We'll keep it simple and talk slowly, Sphinx!
Nice to see you BTW.... how's it going? (I was just thinking about you)
Like I say "gifted" is in the mind of the beholder. Some gifted get depressed easily and do dumb things too. Or turn into alkies in an attempt to be normal and throttle their brains back, or think they're superman and invulnerable, thus do harebrained things that wipe them out (Howard Hughes was a prime example). But it makes sense that someone who can think might avoid hazardous situations ..........
I dunno I'm just sorta rambling. Never mind, it's not that important in the bigger scheme of things.
Thank you, I will check it out later. Lots of activity here right now free visa gift code generator
Visas have given lots of folks lots of opportunities, but the Moody Blues have changed my life by bringing back that feeling with "The Voice," then being perfect gentlemen in a Rock Line interview, then saying words that evoked a spiritual experience I used to have, then changing tour dates to correspond with my migrating schedule, then - oh, so much, all the songs, all the heart and soul, down to the last concert. This song hits me metaphysically.

I'll try to get it back before midnight. These deadlines are real soul killers.
Thanks for sharing.I found a lot of interesting information here. A really good post, very thankful and hopeful that you will write many more posts like this one.
