Loonie - Opening your emails coincides with the computer freezing up, requiring a reboot, and acting funny otherwise. Can you post your messages here, please? Thx. I'll check in de vez en cuando. I've been staying away because (1) I'm rather fatigued these days and can't manage my time well enough, and (2) I hoped getting my toxicity off here would foster mutually-encouraging and glorious conversation about the abundant life. I may have miscalculated.

You completely miscalculated, Leslee. You're not the toxic one here. You just keep repeating history by allowing yourself to get sucked into "Loonie's" black hole of toxicity.

I thought you'd finally learned. MY miscalculation.

leslee, stop that fishing for good vibes. You are a very nice person and should keep right on doing your thing. I assure you, you hang out with much nicer folks than *I* do, I had kids wrestling on the floor today, darn near slapped one.... thankfully I have a LITTLE self control left!!!Laugh But my blood pressure did go up. I'd start going to church and try to find better company and thought myself, but while I enjoy the talks, I sometimes feel funny around the folks unless I'm with good friends or family.

Sorry I just sent over an email to see if you were still alive, you hadn't posted here for quite a while. I worry. Save up for a new laptop, they are quite reasonably priced. I'll try my other email next time.

Get your rest and be sure to eat right too. You push yourself too much. Are you sure you don't want to come out here and get a nice job driving a bus or emergency subbing for science and math?

Happy Easter! And yes keep on thinking free and positive. Smile

I don't go to church for the company. Trust me. I've got one new ager pushing "thoughts they cannot defend" books off on me and wanting to involve me in anything from inner child work to shaping energy fields. Then, Mr. Stalker had the nerve to sit next to me yesterday. Fortunately, there is a crack between the pews and the wall, and I squeezed out the back way and assumed another seat. The good thing is, most of the congregation is supportive of me in this. While he was there saying, "I didn't do anything!" those around me were saying, "I don't believe he had the nerve!" "He should know better." "Do you want me to talk to him?" I guess that's why I stay with that congregation. It is so much better than my mother had it when her dude who received revelations he must marry her convinced the minister and her mom that he was a fine, young man and in the right. Mum said she seriously considered jumping off a cliff. I don't have that option because our church does ordinances for the dead, and I can just see him lying his way into getting me married to him posthumously. I have already asked Maggie not to let that happen, but I should probably get it in writing. Yes, this is such a stranger world than back in the day when I could go to church and worship, learn, and drown myself in the Holy Ghost. As they say in Proverbs, "The curse causeless shall not come."

I have a laptop, but I can't afford to fix it if it gets infected with the same spooge.

My job doesn't allow for proper rest. My boss thinks 4 hours is medically sufficient - cites a study saying so. I do not enjoy being told I push myself too much when all I do requires no more than a three-year-old's intellect. And, when I have 4-6 hours a night to myself (for sleep, eating, commuting, bathing, etc. - I do not think it is in my best interest to drive all the way to WalMart and wait in the checkout line just so I can have fresh fruit and vegetables every day. That said, I am grateful to have a job, and if I were to have a real job that required me to work 24-7, I wouldn't get time off to see Moodies concerts. It's all good.

I don't want to move to the Northwest because I've heard too many stories of ladies getting badly depressed for the lack of sunshine. I noticeably get more depressed with overcast days. I even turned down a chance to get a master's degree in space weather from Washington U for that very reason.

Well there's always sun lamps. I may put in more of them, I have one now.

Sorry Mr. Stalker is still at it. Talk to your Elders about it, and don't give up.

Don't stop looking for another boss, that sounds pretty intense.

I have no answers, that's a fact.

I wish we COULD get some more people to post here, who just want to talk and chat, not solicit pornography, place ads, or talk rudely.

We live in such a rude world. I have a dream of no more bad news.

Reading the post, I was hooked on how night vision devices are increasingly being seen in games and movies. This technology, which was previously only read about in scientific articles, now lives on screens. The ability to see at night as in the day expands the boundaries of virtual worlds and adds realism, says the post https://www.agmglobalvision.com/nv-in-video-games-and-movies-p-I. It is reminiscent of how quickly science penetrates our culture, forming new impressions and perspectives.
