My own musical journey will not be over until they heave me into the crematorium... and maybe even not then, who knows.
I can't see the Moodies stopping until they are like totally addled or something... or stop moving. John and Justin are doing marvelous jobs on their own IMHO. I also sorta like how John has gathered a few of the side people from the Moodies into essentially "Moodies minus Justin" to see how it works... and it sounds great.

In between our screwball venting here, the object is "to share" all Moody information. Everywhere.
Sadly we do have some people who have the objective to tear down others, be jerks, demand negative attention, and compete with other innocent love-struck women fans. leslee is much better at tolerance than I am, I'm afraid. I often admire her technique and good faith.

However I do think that itunes would like to be informed by the FBI that some jackass spammer is dumping their garbage on a perfectly harmless and slightly feral Moody Blues news group. It's a shame the band really DOESN'T care anymore enough to turn the spammers over to the FBI.

I see the bot above is posting on a Metallica board as well. Maybe it is a natural stage in evolution, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, electronic configurations to electronic configurations. It would not be advisable in the current political environment for the FBI to chase nuisances.

leslee the latest rumor is the Moodies will be doing a couple of dates in Vegas in the fall. IMHO that means more touring in the fall... and I'll take any configuration I can get of all the above.
I first heard Bette's album in the summer of 1976, we played it in this costume shop I was in (long story) and when that song came on, we could all repeat the dialog with it. The bananas were very popular with all of us. Love the album went out and bought it.

This is why I'm not going to do either cruise, and why I'm not going to Cleveland, and may even bag Las Vegas
I really DID over do it, lived beyond my means chasing the Moodies back when I first got involved (the 90s) and I know better now. Had to plug in my brain and mature some. I feel super sorry for girls who are blowing all their money and living like nomads so they can follow one of the Moody Blues that they are in love with, hopefully ever after.
"This musical journey" is a TREAT to me, when I can afford it, when it's a break in my work rhythm, and so forth.
I think some of us in this life are expecting too much, and are over extending. Baby Boomers are bad about it, we live for today, and live fast and with no limits on drugs and booze or food. Or romance. There have been moments in my life I've made decisions planning 40 years down the road... didn't like it at the time, but it was necessary. And God willing, I can work until age 70. You just have to plan ahead for a good life.
OK off my soap box. The Moody Road just isn't always what's best in life. But yes it's a nice treat once in a while.
