It was too dark to see. He was between us and he curled up. We escaped just fine. I did not see the movie, but when I was teaching at a private school, the iguana of the biology teacher escape and took up residence in the walls of the room where I taught. I had a class of middle-schooler problem kids. I was hired to teach the high-school kids, but I got this class at the last-minute because the biology teacher didn't want to handle that group.

As usual, I found the ringleaders were under-challenged and so I kept them happy by pushing for overload in fun and challenging hands-on stuff. Back in the day, I could just pull them aside and explain why I needed their cooperation and how they could help, and we lived happily ever after. But the iguana smell was always cause for them to want to leave/whine/etc.

Oh, yes. You are quite dependable. You've always been on-time when I've traveled with you. I hate to say it, but there are fans out there who can tell you disaster stories about me trying to give them rides to or from concerts.

Years from now, they will wonder what those flappy appendages with long bones are beneath the stomach. Did they ever serve a purpose?

Is this site going down? I feel like I'm in the catacombs. Maybe I should go into a deep, meditative state to find some great truth to announce before anybody ever reads it and all goes up in smoke.
