I'm listening to my dog whine. I don't know what he wants... a milk bone I think. I just tossed him two doughnuts, sheesh.

Not in the mood to post this morning... catching up reading

Two of my best friends (one of those husband and wife teams) recommended I read "The Shack." I hate fiction, but they made it sound good.

I loved it. Sure, the theology is weird, but I broke down bawling several times. It was a very beautiful book.

I'll try to look for it. I'm still reading *Ha!*............. It really IS funny. I've been wondering why people giggle needlessly at the storyteller shows, and I'm sorta getting more of a clue.

I would giggle because Justin gives me butterflies in my tummy. Why do others giggle?

I am hearing the hold noise for Charter Communications, as I have been for more than two hours now. I am also feeling a vibration in my brain caused by Evo's barking. I don't hear her anymore. Hoorah. If there was ever cause to destroy one's hearing it was certainly listening to her "ARF! ARF!"

This is too too cool.............. (giggle.......)

http://www.alaskadispatch.com/.....etic-field

Click on the sound byte at the bottom. This is a "for real" thing... the magnetic field of the Earth is lessening, it's a normal cycle, and is correlated with the warming of the Earth (since more cosmic rays get into the Earth's atmosphere). Gee.......... could be causal eh? Laugh

leslee is off line for now, so I find it a little silly to post over here........ hope everyone knows how to find their Moody news.

I had one weird day today (a bomb threat was involved, among other weirdness and math too) but I was left with the Mockingjay melody in my head, it took over in fact and I was whistling it to the birds as I walked to my car after work. The four tone melody is actually the opening to the theme in the 1968 Romeo and Juliet movie........... quite popular in the day. I went looking for that on youtube to share, and found a lovely version, it seems to be the original singer, in French. So enjoy, and have a marvelous spring all.

I'm back. I thought I was scaring everybody away, but then this board became a luna soliloquy. I can make it silly-loco-y, but nobody gets my attempts at a sense of humor.

Justin is a riot, though. Pills and potions - and that Jeff Wayne impersonation - oh, me, oh, my. Don't make me laugh at work.

I also enjoyed the "potions" hehe. You can't believe how annoying "bad skin" is as you get older. I line up a lot of salves and potions myself twice a day. You don't want to know where some of them go, take my word for it. This vacation yes I'll need one bag just for the pills and potions I have to carry, too. I suspect it's that way for many. LaughLaugh

Glad you came back. I'm not into babbling to myself in a lonely room..... and I already have another "soap box" website. LaughLaugh

It was funny because potion is such a funny word, and I thought I was the only one to use it anymore. I may have told you of dressing like a viper to be the bouncer at a political meeting. I get the gig because I am not a member of the party, so I can challenge members without causing any factions. As it turned out, the logistics prevented people from trying to sneak in this time. But I had planned on telling party crashers that people pay extra to drink the potion that will make them think they're having a good time at the event.

It could be like Justin's music room. You could put up a "Keep Out" sign.

Right now, I'm listening to the Buncombe County Commissioners' meeting video. I couldn't attend the meeting due to a scheduling conflict. That's OK. I can stand the punishment. The benefits of missing the meeting were well worth it. Nod nod, wink wink.

"Lotions and potions" I use the term all the time! Then again I was studying witch craft once too. (only dabbled mind you.......... long ago) Ever see the second Shrek movie where they all drink beauty potions, and these crazy things happen when the potion room blows up??? The Good Fairy is a very scary menopausal woman......... I recommend it.

I had it wrong. Justin lets Julie and Mike in his music room. It is his metaphorical creative space that has the KEEP OUT sign - I think.

I'm allergic to most potions and lotions. The second worst thing that could happen on a Moodies tour is losing the makeup. It caused me to be unkind to the full-service guy. I had lost my money, too. I was a little freaked out at the time.

I studied space craft, but not too intensely. I wonder what Leik Myrabo is up to these days. He had a lot of good ideas going on. I still want to crawl through the Goddard Library.

Justin lets all his imaginary friends in his music room, as well as his daughter. Plenty of good company in there!

Skin is a touchy thing isn't it? Two of mine are prescription, I break out easy too. I bet Justin's the same way. I agree, you gotta be careful there... you aren't allergic to nuts are you? I was going to bring a bunch of trail mix and skip the fast food...........

Where IS the Goddard Library? I actually dated a Goddard after my Ex and I split up long long ago. He was a lot of fun, but a little accident prone... wonder where he went? You know, the type that jumped out of (low) flying planes with no chute......... said he was related to the rocket dude... worked with explosives.

The Goddard Library is at Clark University, Worcester, MA.

Justin's my imaginary friend, but I am not worthy to enter.

I'm a nut. Am I allergic to myself? That could explain stuff.

I was considering a 2/$1 McDonald's pie diet. I dreamed of fried pies last night.

Gag fried pies...........

I have my own room.......... and I've found this wormhole under a trap door in the floor... sorta wondering where it leads and why I keep hearing lovely music out of it.

Don't get around my grandson please.... nut allergies aren't funny! Poor little guy swelled up like he'd been stung!!! Embarassed

One more reason to put MA on my bucket list... that and the coroner in Boston.

Odd I was just thinking about Beauty and the Beast the other day.......... perhaps all love stories are B&B on some level. Worth pondering. Have to confess this is on e movie I've never seen. The acting seems excellent from the clips.

Now I have Angela Lansbury singing the song in my head......... "both a little scared, neither one prepared, Beauty and the Beast....."

Shoot. I was halfway through last night's concert, and I realized there was music. What was I thinking?

On the drive home last night, I heard a lot of good music. I always like to sing along with this one:

It all ended with this one. In fact, the motorcyclist who gave me the thumbs up for singing the one below was dressed kind of like the picture above.

Do you ever feel like you're playing a game and winning when you're supposed to be losing? I'm such a mess, with regrets to anybody I'm annoying, but not really.

OK. Now, they're both queued up to play together. Here goes. Whee!

What I mean is, what matters most is the feeling you get when you're hypnotized.

Gotta go to the bank. Let's see what's on the radio this time.

Sixx... sounds like The Fantastiks got loose in here. How very Goth. I like the rock music. Good driving music. So you saw the show last night? Well tell us about it! And for shame, for looking at the outer shell and not hearing the music. I Understand but "looking for love in all the wrong places"

Mandrills......... won't even do a Dr. Jung on THAT picture! Games are games for a reason, no one can see the future and we don't KNOW if we win or lose. That's what makes the game so special and enjoyable. OOoooo that's a nice song, thank you. Did you ever see the *Crossing Jordan* episode where the body dropped past the window in the middle of a very funny conversation?

Gosh this is a very good song. I wish I'd found it for my project. Too late now... oh well.

I never have figured out hypnosis, I can't do it to others. My Ex hypnotized me once (a stage magician), and one of my classmates did it in our program.... impressive stuff. Yes I think Justin does some hypnosis technique, he's gifted that way. But he does it for good. I would swear to that in a court of law. Hypnosis is nothing to fear, because usually what it does is dredge up things that are already there in your mind, they are just suppressed usually. Those things and feelings need to get out for air once in a while. Go with the flooooow....

I'd better shut up before I go off on psychobabble, besides a LOT to do around here before I take off. I refuse to be sidetracked. See you in PHX if I don't check in again... work work work... heigh ho...
